I'm a biologist with a creative flair. My scientific expertise lies in ecology, evolution, neuroscience and conservation, and my research interests lie in ecosystem functioning and the evolution of network dynamics in response to natural and anthropogenic change.
I hold a BSc (Hons) Zoology and an MRes Geography — a combination that lets me look at the living world from several angles at once, which is exactly how I like it.
My vision
My hope is that this blog will evolve over time. For now it is hosting all my brain farts, both complex and simple, and sometimes downright wacky.
